What we do
Suzhou Jiayuan Spring designs and manufactures precision springs for machinery, electrical and electronic products, automotive components, hardware tools and consumer goods. Our range covers compression, extension, torsion, die and special-shaped springs, with round wire from 0.2 mm and rectangular wire for die springs.
Most of our work is custom: a drawing, a sample, or a mechanism that needs a spring nobody sells off the shelf. We review each enquiry as a design problem first — checking stress, solid height, stability, end forms and tooling — and only then as a manufacturing order.
How we work
The production route is conventional and deliberately simple: coil on CNC machines, cut and form the ends, grind where a flat bearing surface is needed, stress relieve, then measure load, rate and dimensions. Parts that require preset or set-removal are processed separately so the free length stays stable in service.
Inspection is proportional to the application. A prototype may be checked dimension by dimension; a repeat order is sampled against the approved drawing and the recorded load at the working point. Material certificates are available when the customer needs traceability.
Materials and finishes
Music wire and oil-tempered chrome-vanadium wire are the default for fatigue-loaded parts. Stainless 302/304/316 is used for corrosion resistance and for food or outdoor equipment. 65Mn and 60Si2Mn cover larger sections and heavy loads. Finishes include phosphate, zinc plating, black oxide and shot peening, selected according to the environment and the fatigue requirement.
Who we work with
Customers range from product developers ordering a single prototype to distributors restocking standard sizes and OEMs releasing repeat production. We quote in metric dimensions and can work from inch drawings after conversion. English-language technical discussion is available by email, and the calculators on this site make it easier to agree on the working point before a drawing is issued.

What we can hold to
- Wire diameters from 0.2 mm, round and rectangular
- Compression, extension, torsion and special forms
- Load, rate and free-length inspection against the drawing
- Prototype quantities and repeat production orders
- Material certificates and plating options on request

A drawing, a sample photo or a description of the load and space is enough to start. We will tell you what is practical and what it will cost.
